Brief Summary of Field Test on the Application of “NutriGrow”
Organic Liquid Fertilizer        

Field Test was carried out on cucumber during Jun – Sept, 2007. The result was remarkable on plant growth and fruitful bearings.
Brief description below shows the Field Test results:

1. Variety: Cucumber, “New Spring No. 14”
2. Date of Transplant: June 22, 2007.
3. Treatment: 3  treatments, repeating thrice, with 33.4 sq.m. per plot.

Treatment 1: Applied “NutriGrow” liquid fertilizer on each plot, with a dilution ratio of 1 : 200,  60Kg of diluted solution per serve, total 7 serves by sprinkle on roots.

Treatment 2: Applied compound fertilizer (Brand: Horse Head) each 7.5Kg + urea 2.5Kg, diluted to 60Kg for watering, totally 7 serves.

Treatment 3: Clear water. (This teat was abandoned due to poor and yellowish seedling.)
The Table below shows the 12 collections of cucumbers on each Treatment till the completion of harvest on Sept., 03, 2007.

 ANALYSIS 

1. Fruit Yields:  In comparison of collections between Treatments  1  &  2, the range of yield increment: 405 – 359/359 = 12.8%.
2. Quality:  As referring to the appearance of cucumber, those of Treatment 1
   were of straight-in-line shape, facilitating for packing and  would fetch higher  value in the market; as for the taste-test between Treatment 1 & 2, those from the former one were better and much more tasty.
